Practical ai for public health - cste 2026

 PubHealth Futures will be in Boston hosting our Practical AI for Public Health Workshop on Sunday, May 31 (1:30–5:30 PM) at the CSTE Annual Conference. 

The workshop will show applied AI in a real-world public health challenge -  an end-to-end electronic case reporting (ECR) workflow using tools powered by AWS. Prior registration required. Bring your own computer and come ready to learn!

The workshop is divided into three parts: 

Part 1: An in-depth review of surveillance-focused tools and applied AI methods
Part 2: Choose among four hands-on breakout sessions that dive deeper into using the tools and methods you'll learn during Part 1
Part 3: A discussion on AI tools and resources currently under development at the federal level
